A lifelong interest in aviation and aeronautical
related subjects started when Rob was growing up in the UK. This ultimately led him into an engineering career
in the aerodynamics department of what was then British Aerospace's military aircraft business.
Rob's interest in photography initially developed from his love of aircraft. Over time he has expanded his
photographic horizons considerably but his largest focus remains the photography of aviation.
Gradually Rob has moved away from the engineering role and into the commercial side of business but his interest
in the aeronautics and aviation has remained strong and he tries to ensure he always has a camera with him when
he travels around the US and Europe for his work.
